Emergency Service Training Courses

The Pre-hospital Care (PHC) department of Maju Healthcare has taken it upon itself to advocate saving lives through innovative resources and training. The training programs for Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) are current and appropriate. We believe in retaining skills via training. Our Paramedics and EMTs spend allocated amounts of their time conducting training to the public, corporate organisations, schools and government agencies to develop and retain skills and most importantly bridge the First Aid Awareness Gap in Malaysia (see Meet our EMS Trainer and The Team). Every emergency medical personnel should equip with the correct competencies. We are working towards to usher Maju healthcare to become number one in providing first class EMS training across Southeast Asia.

Basic life support (BLS) is a level of medical care which is used for victims of life-threatening illnesses or injuries until they can be given full medical care at a hospital. It can be provided by trained medical personnel, including emergency medical technicians, paramedics, and by laypersons who have received BLS training.

AED (Automated External Defibrillator), a life-saving device is now available in most public buildings such as malls, hospitals, airports and schools. Knowing how to use an AED improves chances of survival. First Aiders available on the spot and responding quickly and effectively when faced with an emergency at work such as heart attacks, choking, drowning or electrocution makes your organization a better and safer place to be.

For the accident victim, having someone nearby who is expertly trained to administer basic first aid is not only a legal requirement for businesses of all kinds and sizes, it also makes a good community and commercial sense. Accidents happen and having trained staff on hand and a first aid kit (or disaster preparedness kit) means enhanced safety for all.
